Unveiling Spring Scarf Magic

Finally the sun is back; finally spring is there… Time to put your jackets and jumpers back in your closet and put your summer dress on. Hold on! Don’t get rid of your scarves. Who said they were winter accessories?

Fold it, roll it, wrap it, tie it

Headscarves, that’s what we are talking about. From the hippie look to the turban and the 70s classic headscarf, APHRA did some research - and practice - to show you how to rock the headband this spring. Choose the right prints and colours and upgrade your style without breaking your budget.

The 70s classic head scarf

Fold your scarf into a triangle and drape it over your head (with the long edge only above your hairline). Cross the ends of the scarf under your chin and then take them round your neck to the back tie behind your neck. To create a full retro look, go for sunglasses.

The hippie head wrap

Fold your scarf into a triangle and drape it over your head with the long edge of the triangle across your forehead. Take the two ends back across your ears and tie tightly on the back.

The beach look wrap

Fold your scarf into a triangle and lay it across the crown of your head, take the two ends of the long edge of the scarf and pull them around the sides of the crown of the head, then tie them at the back.

The vintage turban

Fold your scarf into a triangle and drape it over your head with the long edge of the triangle across your forehead. Take the two ends back to the nape of your neck and tie in a single knot, then bring them back up to your forehead and tie a small square knot.
