DIY Cheap Solar Cooker

Imagine sitting outside with a beer and a mate in good weather - indulging in chit chat, then having a hot wee snack without having to cook.

Looking about at solar ovens...curious and all, I came across a very cool video.

This cooker ticks all the boxes, most things needed you probably have at home. It is cheap to make and looks like it would be a lot of fun. No hassle cooking, no fire, no electricity costs.

Omigosh! This woman is so clever. My kinda gal - resourceful, a thinker.

One of the things I really like about this video is that the way the reflectors are placed cuts down possible glare therefore eye damage. Wear your sunglasses people!

It would be a fun thing to do with the kids or grandchildren. Can imagine the grandkids camping on the back lawn in the summer holidays when the days are warm and long.

It is early Autumn here, but I will definitely be giving this a go come Summer. Can't wait to experiment.
