A Change in the Weather

The winter's are getting colder and the summer's are getting warmer.

The floods are getting worse, the droughts are lasting longer, the storms are increasing.

The predictions made by scientists regarding climate change are now occurring. Sea levels are rising and tere are longer heat waves.

Current effects of climate change include:
~ Glaciers shrinking
~ Ice in rivers melting earlier
~ Changes to plants and animals

It has been predicted by NASA that potential future effects of global warming include:
~ More frequent bush fires
~ Longer droughts
~ Greater tropical storms
~ Rise in temperatures

But as things change, so will we. We have the ability to adapt to change.

Climate change has been severe in parts of the world. The planets geological, biological and ecological systems have all been affected.

More extreme weather to come.
