Technology can make life easier but it can also make it more stressful. Yes, some things to do with technology make life more convenient, when they are working as they should. Some things are fun, think gifs, cute cat videos, games to play on a mobile phone, console or PC and movies available on demand. Easy access to information can be helpful, but can also be a source of stress.

Communication Technology
Technology makes it easier to keep in contact with people these days but that brings its own form of stress. Being contactable 24/7 means many never 'switch off' to really relax. On the other hand, if you find yourself in a location where you are not contactable on your mobile, this can cause stress, even
Nomophobia unless you purposely planned time away from technology.

Note Despite the ease of making contact it doesn't mean one necessarily
communicates effectively. Really getting your message across is a different matter.
Technology
Some people do love the challenge of learning to use a new gadget, any new gadget, but not me. I find working out how the latest techno gizmo works can be stressful. (However, on those occasions when I
do master something new connected to technology, I must admit to a sense of accomplishment.)
Making use of online accounts
can make life easier and I do appreciate the ease of online banking.
I also like the idea of being able to update my details with a company any time of the day or night from the comfort of my home. There are other things that can be done online. However, this isn't always as straight forward as it should be as I am about to illustrate with an example.
Recently I needed to make a claim. I tried to do this
online but found the particular item number couldn't be claimed online. (I had already scanned my invoice and receipt and wasted a bit of time.) There was a message to phone or use the
mobile ap. As I didn't have the ap on my phone I used my
mobile to make a call.
I didn't get to speak to a person but instead listened to an
automated message which instructed me to use the
mobile ap. Even though I don't use mobile aps much I downloaded it and worked out how to use it after a while. When I pressed submit I got a message declaring
technical difficulties and was instructed to claim
online or by post. I went into the office the following day and filled out a form and lodged my claim without me using technology. However, I will have to wait a few days for the refund to be sent
electronically to my bank account.
Stress Related To Technology
Gifs about the reaction to technology, especially a computer sometimes show a person smashing or dumping it. Although this is an extreme reaction, when portrayed in a gif it can be funny and something many relate to.

Technology sure can be stressful but it also makes for some amusing gifs.
