I was having a catch up pint with a couple of friends, catching rays at an outside table when a lady walked past and looked at me.
She walked back into the pub, re-emerging with a big basket of colourful Busy Lizzies. She plonked it down in front of me and said 'These are for you'
They needed a good drink so on arriving home they went into the wash house sink, tap running slowly until the droopiness was gone.
They brightened up, stood tall and brightened up their surroundings.
1. An unexpected gift from someone whether you know them or not is an incredible boost. Depending on your mindset you can think you deserve it and no more said or you will grasp what a wonderful moment that is and really appreciate the gesture.
2. You could liken yourself sometimes to this story. When things aren't too great - droopy blooms. Slow down, take stock and nourish yourself. With rest, food, easy exercise or whatever else you need.
Final Thoughts
Something lovely happens out of the blue. I call this kind of thing a 'nice surprise' and practice it when I can or think its vital.
When someone else thinks you are worthy - its a reminder that you are!
Don't be a droopy Busy Lizzie... give yourself some slow running water and recoup.
