Most often, we are simply confused as to what hair style we need to be in for a special occasion. I have always wanted to have the Demi Moore look in Ghost but realised with my face structure that would be a big self disaster. So the following are few things I learnt in my research

It all depends on your facial structure or shape. So here are a few ideas as to what you can do

Round : When you have a round face, it is better to go in for hairstyles that are free falling near your neck and near your ears so that it covers a bit of your face. Also try to backcomb in the centre creating a bump and leave your hair free flowing to the side. The denser your hair appears the better. You could use hair extensions that are available in the market. This gives you a taller look. The best is to avoid tying your hair tightly .

Oval : With this shape, usually you would have a broad forehead. A hairstyle with a fringe would help to conceal your forehead giving you a smarter look. Avoid bumps or rollers which would show more of your forehead.

Square : Having a wide face cut , try to have a style that would again cover your jaw line. If you don't want to have straight hair, try your curlers and rollers and create volume. Again hair extensions are an option.

Combination : If you have a round face with a broad forehead, try something where you can leave your hair loose and cover your forehead.

In general, try to use a good quality hair spray to keep your hair in place. It usually helps to keep your small bits without moving away. Be careful to use clips that are easy to remove and harmless on your scalp.

End of the day, feel confident and comfortable. Remember you will look beautiful anyway.

And ladies, please don't forget to turn off the iron after you use it :)
